I GRADUATEDDDDDDDDDD!!!!! This is such a bittersweet moment for me… I’m happy that I finished this phase of my life, but now it’s the REAL DEAL! I loved college so much… it was such a fun time… I start my new job on June 1st, so it’s like BAM it’s OVER! But anyway, I wanted to share what I did to my mortarboard. There were a TON of people that graduated along with me, so i wanted my parents + friends to be able to pick me out in the sea of black graduation caps. There are some crazy decorations that students have come up with over the billions of years of graduations (lol), but I wanted mine to be a little more serious… and pretty =). I used white acrylic paint and crystal (clear) rhinestones to put a swirly design on top of my mortarboard, and it DEFINITELY stood out! Whenever the light hit it, the sparkles were amazing! There were some other creative people that decorated theirs too, but I was surprised at how few and far between they were! In any case, all the better for me, because it made me stand out =)
The big moment! Accepting my diploma =)
