The original Summer Anklet. Such a typical piece of beach jewelry... I think I got it in Florida (not that you can't find one practically anywhere).
Another cliche piece of beach jewelry, I go this one from the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD.
Got this one in Florida too.
This was actually a necklace that I bought from a craftswoman in Panama. It was such a pain to keep on, because it doesn't have a clasp closure, instead you pull the sides to tighten it, and it would NEVER STAY TIGHT!
Man I loved this beautifully bulky thing. It's also a necklace, but I learned my lesson from the year before, and made sure to pick one with a CLASP. I bought it in North Carolina.
Last year's anklet, that I bought on the beach in Costa Rica. It's made of a single piece of leather, and I just loved how simple it was...
This year's anklet, made out of twine and brass hex nuts.
