This week, The Bronzed Bee (20th & Pine) officially opened its doors to the public & threw a party to celebrate. In addition to custom tanning services (as the adorable name suggests), the salon also offers a brow bar complete with lash & brow tinting, imported skincare products from Ireland & the Royal Family’s esthetician, and waxing. Since I don’t tan (obv), I was more interested in the waxing & brow bar services. Ashley (the owner) has hard blue wax, a soy-based soft wax, and a delicious chocolate soft wax to make sure you leave hair-free. I asked about threading at the brow bar, and was assured that it will be available in the near future.

The party was a fun mix of sponsors (PamCakes Cupcakes, Ryan’s Wine, Smak Parlor), bloggers, and the general public. There were the cutest bee-decorated mini cupcakes from Pamcakes scattered around the salon, and it was SO HARD not to eat them all. I couldn’t miss the chance to browse Smak Parlor’s mobile truck – glad I did because it was chock-full of gorgeous accessories & clothing! I’ve only ever visited the pop-up shop they had on 19th street last year, but will definitely have to make a trip to their home on 2nd & Market Street!

They had the cutest accessories, like this pearl-studded kitten headband (which I think I’m holding backwards)
I also had the chance to finally meet some of the bloggers in person that I’ve been following/interacting with on social media, which is always fun!
