I’m introducing a new fashion segment here on the blog, curated by the very talented, LA-based stylist Samantha Czubiak. We met on set for Creme of Nature – Sam was the stylist & chose some awesome outfits for me + the other models. As much as I love fashion, Sam definitely loves + understands it more than I do, so I’m very excited to bring her on board to share her knowledge + predictions! Here’s her very first contribution, let us know what you think in the comments below so she comes back next month! Check her out online + on instagram, or in person if you’re in the LA area!
One of the hottest trends of the season is the gladiator sandal. They are a personal favorite of mine (I own about 5 pairs!). You don’t have to spend big bucks to look trendy this season; stores from forever 21 to Nordstrom carry a range of these popular sandals. They come in all lengths and colors to best suit your personal style. If you’re new to the trend I would suggest starting with a low gladiator. They are easy to put with jeans and a t-shirt or with your favorite maxi. You’ll fall in love immediately!
Tips for rocking gladiator sandals:
- High leg gladiators- Keep your outfit simple, let the sandals be the focal point. Your outfit should be short in length, above the knee. They work best with shorts, short dresses and skirts.
- Low gladiators- Perfect with jeans and long dresses. Comfy, casual and trendy.
- Metallic gladiators- Go with just about anything! They are the perfect way to elevate any outfit!
